Pangaea is the original Currawong plug boat for all fibreglass boats.
The hull is cold moulded with all three layers epoxy glued, the ribs are double laminated and the hull is all epoxy glued.
Pangaea was sheathed in two layers of dynell by Geoff Baker at Fibreglass Yachts in Sydney. A mould was then taken for future fibreglass production boats.
Pangaea was a very competitive yacht for it’s owners. A sister boat Zeus 2) was a winner in the 1981 Sydney Hobart.
This boat is now eligible for Classic Boat Racing as well as for Wooden Boat Shows.
