Insurance and the power of working as a team!
The committee of the Classic Yacht Association of Australia is delighted to announce a partnership with Tudor Insurance Brokers to provide a significant improvement in classic yacht owners’ insurance across the whole of Australia.
By aligning our “buying power”, we are able to offer improved service and lower cost insurance through an experienced and proven insurance broker, Tudor Insurance.
Where possible existing policies will still be honoured through major insurance policy providers but will be negotiated and administered by Tudor on our behalf as yacht and boat owners. Each policy will be personalised and tailored to your vessel directly with the insurance provider.
The power of CYAA is measurable, with the following qualities that distinguish us as a group.
- We are generally long-term custodians of our yachts and boats and plan the use of our vessel with a sense of caution and wise consideration which distinguishes CYAA from many other owners who also want insurance.
We are committed to our yacht and boat’s maintenance and service. - We are selective as a committee at the CYAA in allowing only worthy, enduring yacht and boat designs to
join the association. - We are a collective of owners that empower the Tudor Insurance team to negotiate on our behalf.
- Tudor Insurance is committed as a broker to providing services for every Classic Yacht owned by members of the association throughout Australia.
This service is potentially a significant reduction in annual premiums, and improvement in the quality of service in the event of a claim.
We will publish the list of Members’ yachts and boats in May 2025 and update in July 2025. We will only advise Tudor Insurance of CYAA members who wish to receive their support and the committee approval of worthy vessels.
Each policy will be individually written to your preferences and conditions but supported by the ‘buying power’ of the CYAA.
This offer is only available to current and financial CYAA members with boats on the CYAA register.
