History
New boat commissioned by Justus Veeneklaas as a broad beamy Couta boat. Justus sadly passed away in April 2012. Tenacity was continued to be sailed by his son Menno and his grandchildren and then passed over to Don Telford.
Tenacity is a competitive Pittwater based Couta Boat. Her original owner Justus Veeneklass featured in CYAA May 2012 magazine. Justus worked with the ANMM to bring the Phillips Company in as principle sponsor of the Sydney based Australia Day Regatta
Currently sailed out of Pittwater by Ian Renwood.
Today, Tenacity’s owner Ian Renwood sails and races her on Sydney Harbour. Part of the fleet of Couta Boats sailed out of the Royal Prince Edward Yacht Club known as “The Eddies”.
