“cream of the crop”
The CYAA is proud to have been invited by The Sydney Amateur Sailing Club (SASC) to participate in the upcoming Gaffers Day regatta to be held on Sunday October 11, 2026.
The CYAA has commissioned a special perpetual trophy that will be presented at the conclusion of the regatta to the skipper of the yacht that is judged to have been the best restored and maintained vessel participating. The trophy is a small cream jug, and in essence is a nod to that yacht adjudged the “cream of the crop”.
On hand to present the award will be CYAA President Mr Craig Brown.
We are very excited to be involved, and this reflects the hard work of CYAA committee member Mr Phillip Brown in greatly increasing the association membership in Sydney and profile of the CYAA amongst the classic community of Sydney.
