5-8 March, 2025 – Auckland
IT’S TIME TO FINALISE BOOKINGS FOR THE CYANZ CLASSIC YACHT REGATTA IN AUCKLAND
The countdown is on to the 2026 CYANZ Perpetual Guardian Classic Yacht Regatta to be held 5-8 March. Only 34 sleeps until it’s time to fly to Auckland.
To those who’ve been there before, you already know what a great experience it will be.
To those who haven’t yet been, you have missed out on some delightful sailing in the Hauraki Gulf on a fabulous range of classic yachts.
Whether you’ve been to the Auckland regatta previously or not, it’s time to book flights and arrange accommodation. Also, make sure your CYAA membership is current.
Information about the regatta is available at https://classicyacht.org.nz/event-calendar/classic-yacht-regatta-2026/ and on the CYAA website. The regatta includes a welcome dinner for CYAA attendees on the evening of Thursday 5 March at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron.
The coveted Trans Tasman Trophy will again be awarded to the most successful CYAA member sailor at the regatta.
Our Sydney members are leading the way – Philip Brown has a contingent of 12 people going from Anitra V. It’s time for our Victorian members to step up and fly the flag.
If you are planning to attend, please advise our co-ordinator for this regatta, David McKenzie, as soon as possible at david at jandmck dot com or 0407 405 109.
See you there!
The CYANZ requires final numbers by the 16th February, so please RSVP by Sunday the 15th.
