CYAA – Racing Rules of Sailing 2025-2028 Information Night 24th Sept 2025 – 2

For Victorian skippers and interested crew, a reminder of the upcoming AS RRS night to be held at the RMYS on September 24th.

It is a requirement that all skippers (and any interested crew) must have attended this session to be eligible to enter the upcoming CYAA summer series.

The latest version of the Racing Rules of Sailing (2025-2028) has been released and the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron (RMYS) which conducts racing in Victoria on behalf of the CYAA has requested that all skippers and interested crew attend a special seminar / information evening prior to competing in the CYAA 2025 Victorian Summer Series.

The CYAA will be conducting a racing rules and classic yachts seminar at RMYS on 24th September starting at 7:00pm.

Two Australian Sailing accredited race officers (RMYS) will be present. Lou Hutton will discuss the latest changes to the racing rules and David Taylor will provide insights for classic yachts racing within the racing rules. 

This event is the opportunity for our members to ensure that RMYS sustain their support of CYAA classic yacht racing on Port Phillip.
