For those members traveling through the US east coast in July and August, a series of 7 must-do Classic Yacht Regattas are in the offing.
Phillip Brown reports that the first of the series of Classic Yacht regattas is held in July in Castine, Camden and Brooklyn in Maine and the last regatta in the classic series is the IYRS Classic Regatta held in Newport, Rhode Island this year on 30th and 31st August followed by a Yacht Parade around the Harbour on 1st September.
The Corinthian Classic Yacht Regatta, will be held in Marblehead, Massachusetts over the weekend of August 9-10, 2025.
Phillip advises that he has sailed in these regattas and that CYAA members would be welcome by prior arrangement on an informal reciprocal basis.
