The Wooden Boat Festival is back in 2024. Hosted by the Royal Geelong Yacht Club, the waters of Corio Bay will once again be the focus of wooden boat sailors and enthusiasts.
This family-friendly event spectacularly celebrates Australia’s maritime heritage and local history by immersing visitors in the world of wooden boats and their craftsmanship. The festival brings together sailing enthusiasts, families, tourists, and locals alike, creating a sense of camaraderie and community spirit.

The Royal Geelong Yacht Club Inc. as the organizing authority invites owners and charterers of eligible boats to apply for entry.
Racing is open to Keelboats, both Classic & Modern, Couta Boats and Tumlarens
