CYAA Sayonara Summer Series set to proceed as scheduled
Sunday 15th Oct 10:25 Div three start
The Race 2 fleet is all set
See the Summer Series race two fleet and the current series points status.
New entry for Race two
Race two will see the Tumlaren Zephyr with us.
Can we be so lucky
The BoM says 15-20 knots westerly while the Met Eye for St. Kilda says 10 knots westerly. Either ways it still a go for Sunday.
Marathon mess at St. Kilda.
I’m sure our RMYS based starters have access to the club house and marina figured out by now when these access shut down events happen. Even so Melbourne’s traffic is bad enough during the week without more mess on a Sunday.
Sound music for sound people
With a forecast for Sunday we’ll use the radio for sound signal transmission.
Course for Sunday
With a predicted westerly for Sunday and as we use divisions to avoid start line problems (never works) we may use RMYS Mark D as the first rounding mark.
Cup Regatta news.
See the latest Cup Regatta news sent out by Mark Chew this morning.
The Margaret Pearl event viewing platform with mine host Jim Woods is place to be.
Last chance water entries are still welcome. The word here is our Tumlaren fleet will be augmented by an all Kiwi crew on Yvonne.
That’s all till we go for the Race two start line Sunday Oct 15.
All the best to our Summer Series fleet.
Regards to all
